Accelerating Power User Identification

CashBook is an Indian fintech startup dedicated to empowering small businesses through the “simplicity of technology.” The company’s innovative mobile app offers real-time, collaborative record-keeping for business transactions, paving the way for financing opportunities through big data analytics. Cashbook wanted to identify the Power User (a user who typically records more than 200 entries in the Cashbook application in a span of 30 days) within a few days of signup. Until now, using manual processes, Cashbook employees took about 2 weeks to identify power users. 

We used Google Cloud’s Firebase to rapidly grow the Fintech app, ensuring secure data management and scalability with services like Cloud Functions, Firestore, and BigQuery, reaching small businesses across India and beyond. The app now supports 800,000 active monthly users in 2,000 cities across India. We helped the client to focus better on their most significant customers.

The Challenge

To achieve their mission of empowering businesses, the client required a robust cloud solution that could scale infinitely while being managed by a lean development team, along with built-in security features for handling sensitive financial data.
