The client is a prominent global home appliance manufacturer with over 40 factories and 80 subsidiaries operating in more than 50 countries. Their diverse portfolio includes both large and small appliances, reaching millions of customers worldwide through innovative solutions.

They aimed to transition to Google Cloud Platform while ensuring the environment adhered to global security and compliance standards. A key challenge was creating a standardized, policy-driven setup with best practices and centrally managed security services across the cloud infrastructure.

Niveus developed and deployed a secure, scalable Landing Zone on Google Cloud tailored to the client’s needs. The solution was aligned with their multi-cloud compliance policies and included a robust account structure, defined security rules, and foundational services designed to deliver consistency and control across their cloud operations.

Our Solution

Niveus Solutions – Part of NTT DATA, in collaboration with Google Cloud, implemented a robust and secure Landing Zone tailored to the client’s requirements. The architecture leveraged Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) to segment and control network traffic, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity. Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies were established to provide role-based access controls, enabling the right level of permissions for each user and service. Security Command Center was deployed for continuous, real-time threat detection and vulnerability assessment, strengthening the client’s security posture.

To safeguard sensitive information, Cloud Key Management Service (KMS) was used to manage encryption keys with high security and compliance standards. Additionally, Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring were integrated to deliver full visibility into system performance, detect issues proactively, and optimize resource utilization. This comprehensive setup ensured that the client’s cloud environment remained secure, compliant, scalable, and operationally efficient.
